Stellara ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

When you use Stellara, you provide:

Birth details: Your name, date of birth, time of birth, and city of birth. These are used to calculate your natal chart.

How We Store Your Data

All personal data (birth details, chart readings, chat history) is stored locally on your device only. We do not have user accounts, and we do not store your data on our servers.

Data We Send to Servers

When generating a chart reading or asking a question, your birth details and question are sent to our API server to generate a response using AI. This data is:

Transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit)
Processed in real-time to generate your reading
Not stored on our servers after the response is generated
Not shared with any third parties

Third-Party Services

Our API uses Azure OpenAI to generate readings. Your birth details are sent to this service as part of the AI prompt. Azure OpenAI does not use customer data to train models. See Microsoft's data privacy policy.

Analytics

Stellara collects anonymous usage analytics (e.g., "reading completed", "app launched") to improve the product. No personal information or birth details are included in analytics events.

No Advertising

Stellara does not display ads and does not share data with advertisers.

Children's Privacy

Stellara is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time from Settings > Delete All Data in the app. Since data is stored locally, deleting the app also removes all data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
